Gluten-free Cauliflower Salad

Summer – hot days, sunshine, cool drinks, barbeques and lots of healthy and delicious salads!

Cauliflower doesn’t only need to be served as a hot vegetable dish. This salad is light, colourful and quick to put together.

Gluten-free Cauliflower Salad

(gluten-free, nut free, egg free, sugar free, dairy free, wheat free, soy free, oat free)



  • 1 floret of fresh cauliflower
  • a small bunch of leafy vegetable (spinach or other)
  • 1 sweet bell pepper (any colour)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Fresh garlic and ginger, chopped


  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of gluten-free vinegar (Balsamic or apple cider)
  • 1 tablespoon of seeds (options – sunflower, flax, sesame, or even nuts)


  1. Carefully wash the cauliflower and separate into smaller bite-sized pieces
  2. Wash the green leafy vegetables, parsley, bell pepper and cut into bite-sized pieces
  3. Finely chop the ginger and garlic
  4. Bring a pot of water to a boil
  5. Carefully drop the cauliflower and green leafy vegetable into the pot
  6. Turn off the heat
  7. Using a slotted spoon, remove the cauliflower and vegetable from the pot and drain
  8. Place into a serving bowl
  9. Add the garlic, ginger, bell pepper and parsley and toss gently
  10. Season with salt and pepper
  11. Pour the dressing over and gently toss again
  12. Allow to cool and then serve
