Tea Time

Spring Tea Time

It’s spring! It may not feel like it, with the icy winds, and freak snow storms that have hit many places, but yes, it is actually the season when the trees are blossoming and the birds are returning; the days are getting longer, and soon it will be summer! For this tea party, I have brought along a wonderful gift which I received from a very good friend of mine –  Japanese green tea. The leaves have been roasted, and when I opened the package, I was greeted by a lovely strong, heady aroma.  The flavour is not subtle, – there is a distinct green tea flavour, that is very uplifting and refreshing. Making you wanting to sit back, relax and savour the moment.

What would it go well with, I wonder?  What would you pair it with?  I’ll let you fill the plates…

  1. Yes it is spring! 🙂 What a beautiful tea set. I would put crackers and cheese on the plate. I love crackers and real cheese with tea:) It could even be gluten free crackers:)
