Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge

The theme for this week is one that I had quite a difficult time getting photos of.  You would think that finding places of worship would be easy, wouldn’t you? Well, I suppose that depends on where you are located.

This week’s theme is ‘Churches’. All the photos below are more from our roadtrip, through various parts of the country. There are many historical buildings in Asia, and especially in China, but not all of them have been restored and are in use.  The churches that I spotted on my travels, are all still in use, and well maintained.

This particular church was built in 1863, on the island of Gu Lang Yu. I'm not very good at taking night shots, so this one is not the best.

A Catholic church, built in 1913, also on the island of Gu Yang Lu. The gates were locked, so this shot is taken holding my camera through the fence.
