Rooibos – Part IV

If you have bought loose tea leaves, and not teabags, how do you go about making a lekker cup of Rooibos?

Here are two easy ways to make Rooibos tea, using a French press, and loose tea leaves. This is the first recipe of two.

Rooibos Latte

What you’ll need:

  • 1 heaped teaspoon of Rooibos leaves
  • A French press or tea strainer
  • 250ml of non dairy milk (I used coconut milk)
  • Boiling water
  • Honey or sugar (can omit)
  • Optional: Spices of choice (cinnamon, or cloves, or vanilla, or other)

  1. The slideshow at the end was great, like watching a short FYI clip on youtube or something. πŸ™‚ I’m still waiting to get into town to look for the tea but that sure looks like it tastes delicious. Nice post!
