This is my first award, and I’m so excited! You can tell, can’t you?!

I first got to know about Terri’s  blog from ‘Photography 101’, which we both took in November of this year.  After  reading her ‘About’ page, I was impressed that she is always ready to learn new things, and only took up  windsurfing and SUP at the age of 50! That certainly is inspirational! Thank you so much for this award, Terri!

This past week, I’ve been inspired by the kindness that goes with the season. Although, sadly, it does seem that only once a year many people take time out to support a charity, or do good deeds for their fellow man, it is still done in a spirit of giving, and not receiving, and that is what is important.  In this day and age, with greed around every corner, there doesn’t appear to be much giving, but certainly a lot of taking!

I’ve been privileged to experience the generosity of community. The laughter of little ones as they learn about Christmas and sing ‘Jingle Bells’ with enthusiasm. I’ve baked and shared my goodies with friends, who were adventurous enough to taste-test my creations, and actually enjoy them!

So, go out there – be kind, and giving.
